Four award winning, stone, self catering cottages on
a non-working farm. Cotterill Farm Holiday Cottages are
in a glorious location, over looking dales and rolling
countryside, in the heart of the White Peak area of the
Peak District. These holiday cottages are full of character
and feature exposed beams and stone-work. Cotterill Farm Holiday Cottages are 300 yards up a private drive. They form part of a courtyard and face outwards over the surrounding fields and dales to give excellent views and some degree of privacy. In front of these cottages is a large grassed and garden area. The cottages are classified by the English Tourist Board as 4 Stars and the owners constantly look to upgrade and improve them. All cottages have recently had new kitchens fitted with gloss work-tops, halogen cookers and granite stone sinks. The bathrooms have also been up-graded. Housekeeping and attention to detail is regarded by the owners, as being of paramount importance. These are truly delightful cottages which have been equipped to an exceptionally high standard. |

Two cottages are for four persons, one is for three and
the other is an equally large cottage but only sleeps
two. The three person cottage was only completed in 2005 and is on the ground floor making it particularly suited for the less agile. The two person cottage has a galleried bedroom overlooking the large living room. This has a log burner in the centre acting as a focal point. It also has a 5 piece suite in the classy bathroom. There is ample area for off-road parking. No pets are permitted, nor smoking in the cottages themselves |

and its smaller, quieter neighbour, Biggin. Both villages
have pubs serving full meals, cafes and a church. There

has a lovely Hall where excellent cream teas are sold. There are two wild flowers meadows on Cotterill Farm land. One of them borders a nature reserve leading to the Rive Dove (at Wolfscote Dale). One mile downstream is Dovedale. Numerous footpaths surround the land on which the cottages stand. These offer unrivalled walking in the best part of the White Peak. There are also tracks whcih are ideal for family cycling, as is the network of quiet minor roads, which can be accessed at numerous points along the trails. Cotterill Farm Cottages are in the heart of the White Peak area of the Peak District. The White Peak is an area of rolling countryside, dales, streams, rivers, limestone villages and dry-stone walls. Buxton, Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Leek and Chatsworth House are all about 11 miles away. The Peak District has something for everyone.
