Southampton Port is the home to many of the Worlds leading cruise liners. During the season P&O and Cunard liners are frequent visitors as they make their inward and outward journeys around the world. Captains House faces Southampton Water and the Village Green with a small tidal shingle beach to the front of the property.
Just 5 minutes drive from the open walks of the New Forest and 2 minutes walk to both the Village centre and Hythe Marina Village. A public slipway for dinghy sailors and jet skis is adjacent.
Golf, indoor swimming/sauna and most activities are within the Waterside area.
Beaulieu Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens, famous for the steam railway through the rhododendron gardens, are both just a 10/15 minute drive.
Local sandy/shingle beaches are 6 miles.
Hythe has a variety of local pubs, takeaways and restaurants catering for most tastes. Waitrose is in the High Street and Tesco out of town store is a 5 minute drive.
