This charming cottage, for up to 5 people, is attached to the owner’s home on a small working farm in rural Northumberland, home of Moorgair Alpacas.
The cottage is furnished to a high standard and has every convenience to make your holiday stress free and enjoyable. Cot and high chair available. Private garden and parking.
From the doorstep there are miles of forest tracks and country lanes for walkers and cyclists, whilst being ideally situated to explore Northumberland, Durham and the Scottish Borders.
A small shop, post office and two pubs serving food (one with an excellent adventure playground) are within 1½ miles of the cottage.

The cottage is situated midway between Newcastle and Carlisle, the cottage provides an excellent base to explore the Roman sites and Museums in the Northumberland National Park, including Hadrians Wall, which is 6 miles from the historic market town of Hexham. The Metro Centre and wonderful Outdoor Museum at Beamish are just a leisurely drive away, as is the Cathedral city of Durham. The Scottish Borders and Northumberland coast are within easy reach.
