Keepers Cottage is a beautifully converted former gamekeeper’s cottage which offers peaceful, luxury accommodation for 4 people. Set in 15 acres of woodland and garden grounds, it offers views to the north of Kielder forest and to the west, Hadrian’s Wall. This self catering cottage is an ideal base should you wish to explore the many places of interest in the region.

Keepers Cottage is less than 2 miles from Hadrian’s Wall. Nearby are the Roman sites of Steel Rigg, Housesteads, Vindolanda and Carovan and the market town of Hexham. The cities of Carlisle and Newcastle upon Tyne are less than an hour away, as is the Gateshead Metro Centre. The Lake District, Kielder Water and Beamish Open Air Museum are also within easy traveling distance.
