Three Self Catering Holiday Cottages set in the tiny hamlet of Greenhouses on the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Foxglove, Honeysuckle and Primrose Cottages have been converted from the original 17th century farm buildings. They all have thick stone walls and the red pantile roofs typical of the area. The cottages are 15 min. by car from the ancient fishing port of Whitby and the sandy beach of Sands End. The cottages enjoy splendid views over open countryside and offer a peaceful setting for a holiday.
Primrose Cottage is ideal for the disabled with extra large doors and a large bathroom in which you can turn a wheelchair with ease. Except for a double bedroom all accommodation is on the ground floor.

The cottages are just one and a half miles from village of Lealholm. This is a small picturesque village with post office, shop, pub, tea rooms, pottery, garage, garden centre, churches and countryside walks in all directions. There are plenty of country inns & reasonably priced eating places in this part of the lovely Esk Valley in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
There is a national rail service which runs, through the moors, along the Esk Valley from Middlesbrough to Whitby. Trains stop at Lealholm and all villages en-route.
Less than ten miles from cottages are the quaint fishing villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay, sandy beaches and the ancient port of Whitby. The moorland & coastal scenery is some of the finest in Britain.
