The Regional Parc du Morvan is found in central Burgundy. The Morvan was designated a natural park in 1970 to preserve its natural environment. This peaceful area boasts unspoiled countryside with many historic castles and villages. The nearest historical towns are Autun, Avalon, Vezelay, Chateau Chinon and Beaune.
