The FarmHouse has been tastefully renovated and offers very comfortable accommodation. This lovely holiday gite has retained all it's original French character with exposed oak beams, woodburning stoves and vaulted ceilings upstairs.
The FarmHouse has its own private garden with patio, BBQ, and an above ground pool with timber decking. There is also a children's play area with two swings and a see-saw.
The accommodation in this beautifully renovated gite is excellent. The owners live on site and welcome guests on arrival. They respect guests privacy at all times but are always available recommend a restaurant or for other helpful advice.
The area is famous for the fishing available in local lakes, rivers and canals. Carp, Roach, Pike and Mullet are the most popular catches.This is a wonderful area of France to enjoy a relaxing break.
The lovely towns of Rennes, Angers, Laval, Nantes and St Nazaire are within an hour's drive from the Farm, as are the beaches at La Baule and St Brevin.

Location of the Gite In Loire Valley
The gite is on Hirondelle Farm and set in the beautiful Western Loire. It is only 6Km from the walled historic town of Chateaubriant. Hirondelle Farm nestles in the hamlet of Le Perray and is surrounded by peaceful fields of corn on the cob and sunflowers. Hirondelle Farm is owned by Dave and Doreen Joyner, formerly of Bournemouth, UK.
The village of Saint Aubin des Chateaux, has a picturesque riverside picnic area and is less than a kilometer away. Chateaubriant is a scenic bicycle ride of about 6 kilometers. The ferry port at Saint Malo is less than a two hour drive away from the Western Loire.
