Puy Hardy has a lovely leisure area. A five minute walk brings you to a pretty fishing lake, where there are picnic tables, two boules pitches and a children's play area. At Xanton le Bourg (15 minutes away by car) there is a large lake with an artificial beach and children's waterslide. There are two 18 hole golf courses withing easy reach.
The beautiful, old port of La Rochelle, the historic city of Poiters and Futuroscope are all about a one hour drive away from this accommodation. The enchanting Marais Poitevan (Green Venice) is also well worth exploring. The old towns of Niort, Fontenay le Comte and Parthenay are within easy reach of the gite.
