La Conciergerie is a large, three bedroom holiday Gite set in the landscaped grounds of an 18th Century Charentaise Logis.
The self catering house has been renovated to a high standard and retains many of its original features. It will comfortably sleep up to six guests in three bedrooms. This sizeable accommodation used to be the gatekeeper’s residence. It has the benefit of is a private fenced gravel garden.
This gite is one of five holiday properties set around a courtyard on the edge of the village of Lussais in Poitou-Charentes. These beautiful, self catering, holiday homes have the benefit of two heated swimming pools.

For location of Lussais please click on the Multimap. link. Lussais is a quaint village just 1km from the small town of Chef Boutonne with its local bars, shops and restaurants. Local facilities for fishing and horseriding and the area is great for cycling and walking. There is an abundance of wildlife. Chateau de Javarzay with park and lake is nearby.
The region of Poitou-Charentes is steeped in history and tradition. It has a warm and sunny climate. There are picturesque hilltop villages, medieval towns, Romanesque churches, cathedrals, ancient abbeys, châteaux, museums, and art galleries. The varied landscape includes meandering rivers, beautiful countryside, sunflower fields, vineyards and old golden stone buildings.
