An authentic, medieval castle set in the Irish midlands in County Laois. This unique accommodation features gothic arches, timber beams, exposed stone, and heavy wooden doors. Ballaghmore Castle can be rented on a self catering, staffed or B&B basis. Bed and breakfast accommodation is also available in the 16th century Manor Guest House.

Ballaghmore Castle was built in 1480 by a Gaelic Chieftain. It is set in 30 acres and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Each room in the Castle has its own, individual charm. This accommodation and offers a wonderful setting for a relaxing break. It is perfect for private parties and weddings as well as family holidays. The Castle can be rented weekly or weekends basis.
