This delighful accommodation is just 2 miles from the coast at Anstruther and 8 miles from St. Andrews. The grounds have spectacular views over rolling fields to the sea, the Isle of May, Bass Rock and across the Firth of Forth.
The cottages provide a perfect sanctuary for families. Facilities include a children's play area, secure gardens, indoor table tennis, pool tables and mountain bikes. Carvenom Cottages provide a perfect base from which to enjoy all that this area has to offer.

May Cottage - sleeps 8 - 4 bedrooms Fully fitted kitchen.
French doors onto central garden. Large dining room, spacious sitting room with French doors to private gardens, open fire, central heating. Bedrooms = 2 doubles, 2 twins. Ideal for one or two families.

Rowan Cottage - sleeps 6 - 3 bedrooms
A large stone cottage with private parking area and easy access.
Fully fitted galley style kitchen, door to central garden.
Dining room, sitting room with open fire & 2 sets of French windows.
Bedrooms = 2 doubles (1 ensuite) and 1 twin

The Bothy - sleeps 2 - 1 bedroom
A very old, completely refurbished cottage with good size rooms all on the ground floor. Fully fitted kitchen/dining room, comfortable sitting room with an open fireplace.
Bedroom - king-size bed and en-suite shower room with WC.
Private garden.

Dove Cottage - sleeps 6 - 3 bedrooms
An ancient stone cottage with all rooms on the ground floor. Fully fitted kitchen/dining room, large sitting room with open fire and French windows, secure private garden with patio. Bedrooms = 2 double (1 ensuite), and 1 twin

Central heating, hot water, electricity, initial supply of logs for open fires, bed linen are included. Towels are available at a small charge.
Cots and high chairs are available  but please book them in advance.
A limited number of mountain bikes are also available on request at no charge.
All the cottages are strictly non smoking and pets cannot be accommodated.

There are many first class restaurants and inns in the local seaside villages as well as St. Andrews. Taxis can be hired easily and cheaply from the village. Supermarket, chemist, banks etc are all close by in Anstruther and St. Andrews. There are also theatre, galleries and cinema in St. Andrews. Edinburgh is 1 hour away by car or train.
The area around this accommodation is full of places of interest and activity. Besides many world famous golf courses there are picturesque ancient harbours and magnificent award winning beaches. This region abounds with historic sites, wildlife sanctuaries and nature reserves are to be found nearby and there are daily boat trips from Anstruther for most of the year.
