Plas Dinas is the former home of the Armstrong-Jones family and was once a popular retreat for Anthony Armstrong-Jones, (Lord Snowdon) and his wife, Princess Margaret, when they were married in the 1960's. The house still contains much of the original family furniture, memorabilia and portraits. Despite its grandeur, Plas Dinas retains a relaxed, homely and comfortable atmosphere. Plas Dinas Country House stands in it's own magnificent grounds with outstanding views over Snowdonia, the Irish Sea, Anglesey and the Menai Straight. There is a local village pub within ten minutes walk and large supermarkets within 5 minutes drive. This is an ideal location for the numerous activities and attractions of the North Wales coast, Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula. |
